 We work what's known as 'disposably' meaning that nothing gets reused or reprocessed. Every item that touches you during your appointment is brand new and most items are sterile - either purchased presterilised (like gloves, markers, saline wipes, specialty tools) or run through our STATIM sterilising equipment before use (like jewellery, sharps, gauze etc).

You might think that by throwing items away we're creating more waste but a huge amount  is negated by not packaging things individually in plastic and by not needing to clean and reprocess items we forgo using a lot of chemicals that are harmful to the environment, not to mention the additional PPE that must be donned for health and safety.

Even the bags or pots given to you to take away jewellery not currently being worn have been repurposed as it's what we initially receive jewellery in from our suppliers. Our consent forms, written aftercare information, and receipts are digital so there's no wasted paper!
